Want to be a Volunteer on Christmas Morning?
Would you like to help others on Christmas morning? We need volunteers to assist in delivering gifts to families at their own homes using your vehicle for an hour or two.
Over the years, thousands of volunteers have kindly given their time and effort to create a wonderful experience for less fortunate families. Volunteers are welcome to bring their children if they wish, making the event a shared family experience.
Please click HERE to fill out our Volunteer Delivery Form
Submit the form to us as soon as possible. Our deadline for volunteer sign up is Dec.20, 2026. Feel free to bring others with you as it will surely be a positive experience for years to come.
We will be meeting at the following address on Dec. 25th at the time you select (either 9:00am or 10:00am):
St. Stephen Lutheran Church Parking Lot
1235 Lawndale Street
Detroit, MI 48209
Upon your arrival at the parking lot, please remain in your vehicle. You will be provided with instructions and gift delivery information by one of our team members.
For everyone's safety, we encourage you not to enter anyone's home, only drop the bag outside on a porch or doorstep.

Our Mission
As Jimmy's Kids has evolved through the years, many things have changed, but the things that matter most have remained the same.
Our purpose is to serve children and families in need.
The Christmas Morning Program has become our guiding star. People from diverse faiths, traditions, and backgrounds, including those who do not identify with a particular faith, come together in a shared spirit of generosity and a desire to make Christmas brighter for children in need. In doing so, we carry on Jimmy's dream.
Each year, we support families, both large and small, bringing the magic of Christmas to children who might otherwise go without. A visit from Santa and his elves, along with an unexpected gift bag, is almost certain to bring tears of joy to everyone involved!
Our commitment to children extends beyond the holidays. We partner with local schools by providing essential school supplies and grants that help make special programs possible, giving children opportunities to learn, grow, and discover new interests.
It is an honor to serve our community in this way, to help children feel seen, valued, special, and loved.
This was Jimmy's way. And it will continue to be ours.
